.....Hobby Club USA opened their doors in February of 1990 with the intent of promoting the hobby of building and flying R/C aircraft. This came about when my then, soon to be, son-in-law came home with about $1,500 worth of R/C equipment he had been sold. He was told that "you could do it, it is easy". Mind you, he had never built, flown or even been near an R/C aircraft. We jumped into the hobby blindfolded without a safety net and quickly found that there is more to this pastime then was readily apparent. After almost abandoning the sport before we even got to fly, I decided there was a need for a hobby store, such as ours, who's primary goal is to provide anyone who was interested in R/C aircraft the best possible introduction into the hobby.

.....To this date we have been responsible for more then 300 hundred R/C pilots and builders being introduced to the hobby. "We don't sell you anything you don't need or want and we will do anything possible to make sure your 1st experience with flying or building is a pleasant one". We have even developed special programs to teach you how to fly your plane using our own training planes.

.....Hobby Club USA has been involved with the sport of Reno style Giant Scale Air Racing since its inception in 1991 and has participated in racing for the past ten years - as well as supporting the racers themselves with the parts and equipment needed to excel in this highly technical and demanding sport.

.....We have added model trains to our inventory since August 1997 we also carry all sizes of trains from "N" to "G" gage. We have starter sets and basic support equipment and accessories as well as the finest scale detailed accoutrements. Our goal is to balance our expertise with both Trains and Planes and continue to be the best place to go to get the right stuff.
